I saw a boy whose wings still shone a pristine white, with only a few sweeps of color. I saw many things happen to him. I saw him grow and knew he was aware that a vital part of his life was missing. I saw him become inwardly strong. I saw the First Trial hit him. This one had not seen much darkness! I thought. This one's First Trial is harsh, don't you think? Do not interfere, they told me. Watch.
He survived the trial, bearing its everlasting mark and an emptiness where before was life. Again I said, But for this one? This one will be great; don't let the Trials kill him before his full potential can be recognized and become reality! The trials strengthen, they told me. He will shine brighter for all of them. Many have had worse; why are you complaining about this one? I did not respond and reluctantlz shut my mouth and watched.
Times changed, people waxed and waned. But I watched this one. Oh, the potential of this one! How could he not be awake to such power growing within his own body and soul? I wondered incredulously.
Then the girl came. Oh lylh, why her?! I asked. This was ridiculous. She will hinder him! I said.
Be quiet, the lylh said, And watch.
He was surrounded now by a close-knit group of friends. As the time went by, he saw her error, and the error of the second one, the crumbling of the friends and the development of truer, stronger bonds. The fact is that he simply burned too bright beside them. He needed someone to match his glow. For the Second Trial would tear one apart if they were not bonded as they came to be. He was light to her dark and vice versa.
And I record at the time in which their bonding becomes even more solidified: the lylh is pleased.
And their wings, as I have seen them, grow more colorful.
These ones will be bright and beautiful among the brightest of rainbows.
I have not much to report as of now. All fares well with the lylh's Chosen. I have discovered her mother is in disguise; she is the one we have feared. I fear for her but I believe the mother does not see what he is yet. I will make sure she does not learn it or she will take her away from him and tear their bond asunder. The lylh sees no immediate danger to their plan or that of the two young ones, but the lylh advises I proceed with extreme caution in regards to the mother. She, once a part of the lylh herself, will see that the lylh, her sworn enemy, made these two great and do all that is within her power to stop the lylh's plan. This must not happen. We must proceed or we will fail and all we have worked so long and meticulously to accomplish will be destroyed, and by then it will be too late to begin again. I will proceed as the lylh has advised for now and see what transpires.
